Lead Data Engineer Location: Dublin Salary: € Hybrid Reperio have partnered with a software company who are on the lookout for a Lead Data Engineer to join their high-performing team.

The successful candidate will design, build, and optimize our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and infrastructure.

You'll lead a talented team of data engineers and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product stakeholders to ensure data is a strategic asset across the business.

Requirements: 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.

Expert knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.

Proven experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Big Query).

Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.) and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have: Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).

Data governance and security frameworks knowledge.
