JOB TITLE: Production Operative Hours: 12 hour Continental Shift Pattern, rotating day and night every 2 weeks, 14 shifts in 28 days Rate: Trainee / 1 Loom £12.08 2 Loom £12.60 3 Loom £13.13 BENEFITS: Company Pension, Private Medical Care, Onsite Parking, Premium Rate Overtime, Employee Assistance Programme, Long Service Awards, GENERAL ROLE: Operating and monitoring the operation of automatic and semi-automatic machines involved in the manufacturing process, to ensure goods are made in an efficient manner and delivery deadlines are met.

Carry out routine operational checks and undertake any basic maintenance on machinery within the guidelines of the supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Health and Safety Quality Records Machine Operation Packing Housekeeping Other Duties SKILLS: Operators will need to be able to work within a high intensity production environment and be able to adapt quickly.

Good ability to communicate well in English with other production personnel areas is essential.

Be able to demonstrate a high attention to detail.

Good time keeping and reliability are essential.

EXPERIENCE Previous experience in working as part of a team is essential.

Working within a production orientated environment is desirable.

Engineering / plastics sector experience would be an advantage.
