This role has arisen due to continued growth within the Group and will see the successful candidate take ownership of the financial process for multiple entities as well as gain significant exposure to senior stakeholders through ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will be a Big 4-trained ACA, either newly qualified or with up to 2 years PQE in either Big 4 or industry roles.


While top academics and a high internal rating will be looked upon favourably, it is of paramount importance that the successful candidate have an innovative, proactive approach to work, Advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with senior leadership.


The Group has a long history of hiring directly from Big 4 with huge success and, as such, full support and training in transition from practice to industry can be assured.


Main Duties: Preparation of monthly management accounts for a number of trading and holding entities The collection and analysis of large volumes of data, investigating variances and summarising findings within strict deadlines Management of full trial balance of assigned companies, providing analysis of monthly income statement and balance sheet reconciliations for review Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounting packs for submission to finance leadership Liaison with Group businesses to ensure accuracy and completeness of all incoming data, challenging information when necessary Assist with production of Group forecasts and annual budgets, including review and analysis Foster environment of continuous improvement, particularly with regards to monthly management reports and working papers Completion of Group intercompany reconciliations and analysis Support in the preparation of the Annual Report and periodic results, including liaison with auditors, as required Preparation of reporting packs for trading and holding entities Key Requirements: Qualified ACA with 0-2 years PQE with strong academic background Exposure to Plc or complex company structures, either through audit clients or in-house work, would be advantageous Familiarity with Group consolidations and associated systems, as well as ERP systems, is desirable Advanced Excel (Pivots, Power BI etc) Innovative and commercially-minded with ability to think outside the box Strong analysis skills required, including ability to draw meaningful insights from high volumes of data to aid commercial and financial decision-making High standard of written and verbal English, ability to communicate effectively at all levels and partner with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
