Junior Health and Safety Officer Junior Health and Safety Officer required to work for a Tier 1 Developer on an upcoming residential project in North Dublin.
This position is ideal for candidates with a relevant health and safety qualification and ideally a minimum of 1 year of experience, though we will consider graduates.
The successful candidate will receive guidance and training from a highly regarded Health and Safety Manager within the industry.
Role & Responsibilities: Enforce the implementation of the company's policies, procedures, and management systems for health, safety, quality, and environmental issues.
Assist site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, Safe Plans of Action, and Tool Box Talks, providing advice and support as needed.
Offer guidance, instruction, and advice on all health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees, including sub-contractors as necessary.
Conduct Health & Safety induction programs for new employees or sub-contractors on site.
Carry out regular inspections and site audits, reporting any findings to site and senior company management.
Ensure prompt follow-up to address any identified issues.
Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and appropriate notifications are given to the Directors, Health & Safety Authority, and Insurers as required.
Requirements: Hold a relevant Qualification.
