Production Supervisor

Operating within a regulated environment, the Production Team Lead oversees all aspects of their assigned area, including resource allocation, adherence to processes, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership Direct and oversee the activities of the production workforce, including Team Leaders where applicable.
Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring team members are accountable for achieving targets.
Provide training and guidance on equipment use and processes.
Conduct performance reviews and address any team concerns.
Mentor and develop team members, identifying potential talent for growth opportunities.
Operational Management Monitor production workflows to ensure schedules and specifications are met.
Enforce quality control standards and identify areas for improvement.
Resolve operational challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
Ensure production goals are met within set timelines and budget constraints.
Safety and Compliance Promote and uphold workplace safety standards and procedures.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Inventory and Equipment Oversight Ensure materials, tools, and machinery are available and ready for use.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the supply chain team to prevent shortages.
Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to maintain uninterrupted production.
Reporting and Collaboration Maintain accurate records of production metrics, such as output, efficiency, and quality.
Prepare and present reports on production performance and challenges to management.
Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance, logistics, and design teams, to enhance efficiency.
Skills and Competencies: Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong understanding of production operations, machinery, and safety protocols.
Effective leadership and team-building skills.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with production tracking tools.
Qualifications: Degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate is self-motivated and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
