We are now recruiting for a Head of IT: Data and Analytics to join our Musgrave team.
Role purpose, as senior leader you will be responsible for managing the Data and Analytics function and to deliver world class Data and Analytical Solutions which support the underpinning corporate Data strategy.
Role Scope:? The goal of the Data and Analytics function is to provide Data platforms, engineering and architecture capabilities to facilitate the timely capture, transformation and presentation of Data to drive faster and greater insight to solve business problems and to identify and exploit business opportunities via analytical solutions.
The scope of this role is to help create and deliver on the corporate data strategy.
It should deliver Data and Analytical platforms that facilitate analytical insights and discovery through the ingestion and transformation of data from source and made available in a trusted, secure and timely manner.
The role will be responsible for unlocking business value within our data whilst achieving faster time to insight.
The role requires a senior leader to manage a team of 5 to 7 senior Data managers and architects.
Area of Responsibility:??Data and Analytics Key Activities Manage a team of 5-7 senior Data managers, architects and PMs Help create and deliver upon a corporate data strategy Deliver data and analytical platforms to facilitate BI and advanced analytics Deliver data engineering solutions across all Musgrave divisions Analysis, architecture, design and development of data and business intelligence solutions.
Implement standards for naming, describing, governing, managing, modelling, cleansing, enriching, transforming, moving, storing, searching and delivering data within the business.
Deliver high quality data pipelines, transformation processes and data models for driving analytic solutions.
Research and maintain knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
Work closely with business and technical counterparts to drive the delivery of data initiatives.
Drive the effort to unlock value from our data.
Manage Data Partners and vendors and ensure a strategic relationship is in place to deliver upon our Data strategy Actively participate and contribute to Data & Digital senior leadership team.
