We are searching for an experienced Senior Product Developer to lead the creation of high-quality food products that align with customer preferences and market trends.
This Senior Product Developer is critical to maintaining the commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
You will oversee the entire product development process, from concept to production, collaborating with suppliers and marketing teams to ensure products stand out in the market.
Responsibilities: Lead the development of new raw meat products, managing the process from initial concept to final production.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer preferences and emerging trends in the meat industry.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure products are feasible, meet quality standards, and comply with food safety regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to source premium ingredients and materials.
Create detailed product specifications, covering taste profiles, cooking methods, and presentation guidelines.
Test and refine recipes and production processes to ensure optimal flavor, texture, and presentation.
Oversee product launches, ensuring they align with marketing strategies and brand messaging.
Mentor and train team members, fostering creativity, innovation, and a commitment to excellence.
Monitor the performance of new products, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Skills: Minimum of 5 years' experience in product development within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of meat processing, flavor profiles, and culinary techniques.
Proven success in launching new products, especially in the retail sector.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
A passion for high-quality meat products and a strong awareness of current food trends.
Proficiency in using data to evaluate product performance and guide improvements.
