We are currently seeking an Restaurant Manager to join the team at Farnham Estate.

The role of our Restaurant Manager is to overseeour Maxwell's Restaurant & Cedar Rooms staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations and toprovide efficient, prompt, trouble free and courteous and quality food & beverage service to our guests.

Role/Responsibilities: Manage all actives of both Maxwell's Restaurant & Cedar's Steakhouse Achieve Restaurant goals by executing marketing and sales strategies Manage staff performance, carry out performance and probation reviews Manage systems in line with forecasting on a day to day basis and in advance Identify talent within the Restaurant team for progression Motivate and influence the Restaurant team in a professional manner Develop and maintain a relationship between other Departments within the Hotel to ensure operational excellence and smooth running Develop and maintain a professional relationship between other Head of Departments Manage and lead the health and safety of the Department Delegate tasks and responsibilities to Waitstaff and Supervisors Work alongside the Executive Head Chef and other staff members to implement and style menus and specials Manage the communication from management to staff in the Department Attend Management meetings when required Manage and control staffing budgets Manage and control costs and stock To carry out Duty manager shifts Additional ad hoc duties About The Role Requirements Have 2+ years experience as a Restaurant Manager Experience managing 600+ covers per day (including Breakfast, lunch and dinner) Previous experience working in a 4 or 5* Restaurant Pervious experience managing a large diverse team Perks and Benefits of working at Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort Very competitive salary Free Carparking Complimentary, high-quality meals on duty Career progression opportunities across the Windward group Employee Assistance& Digital Wellness Programmes Complimentary, high-quality meals on duty Discounted room & dining rates in Windward properties for you as well as friends and family Training and development opportunities dedicated to your development including E- Learning platform Employee awards & staff recognition scheme including employee of the month, long service awards, team recognition days and random treat days Cycle-to-work scheme Refer a friend Scheme About Windward Management: Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort is managed by Windward Management.
