Role: HGV Mechanic / CVRT Tester Salary: 65,000 per annum Duration: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Kingswood, Dublin Benefits: CVRT certification sponsored (terms apply), competitive salary, supportive work environment, long-term career prospects HGV Mechanic / CVRT Tester A well-established commercial vehicle testing centre located in Kingswood is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Mechanic / CVRT Tester.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a team that values precision, reliability, and high-quality service delivery in vehicle testing and maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining HGVs and LCVs to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with RSA regulations.

Applicants who are not currently CVRT certified are still encouraged to apply, as full certification will be provided by the company.

However, in such cases, if the employee leaves within 12 months of completing the certification, the cost of the course will be reimbursed to the company.

Responsibilities: Perform full CVRT testing on HGVs and LCVs in compliance with RSA standards (where certified) Conduct mechanical inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner Liaise with customers to explain inspection findings and necessary repairs Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment Keep up to date with industry best practices, safety regulations, and testing procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery Requirements: Recognised qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or a related discipline Full CVRT certification for HGV/LCV testing preferred, but not essential (training provided) Proven experience working on HGVs and LCVs in a commercial setting Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics and mechanical systems Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Full clean driving licence Strong communication skills and a commitment to high standards of workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team What to do next: If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
