Role Overview As Project Manager you will use an effective leadership and management style to deliver safe, timely, profitable and high-quality projects at our developments and build locations.
What you'll do Some of your main responsibilities will include: Oversee the development and construction of projects from conception to completion.
Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, safely, on time, and to projected profit levels.
Take responsibility for health, safety, environment, and quality matters by ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing policies and procedures across operations, promoting site safety, and driving continuous improvement.
Liaise with the client on site and represent the company at progress meetings, and other forums, whilst always maintaining a professional manner.
Delivering client satisfaction will be key to the role.
Liaise with external bodies, statutory authorities, and key stakeholders, portraying a professional and positive image at all times.
Ensure the project is on or ahead of programme, utilising programme management skills (both long term and short/medium term) as necessary.
With support from commercial staff, avoid contractual disputes.
Manage risk and opportunity effectively throughout the project.
In collaboration with the Commercial Team and Business Leadership, lead in the selection and effective management of the supply chain to deliver the project.
Ensure adequate resourcing, materials, and plans are available as required.
Manage project quality daily, ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard and in line with specifications and best practice.
Ensure quality management is recorded in accordance with the Quality Management Plan.
Raise technical queries and liaise with consultants for resolution.
Maintain accurate records of site activities throughout the project.
Provide clear leadership and direction to internal staff, subcontractors, consultants, and supply chain partners, promoting a collaborative environment.
Lead by example, ensuring processes are followed and technology is utilised where possible for efficiency.
Remain effective in unclear, complex, or pressurised situations.
Ensure project imperatives and stakeholder interfaces are clearly communicated and understood.
Address concerns, risks, and underperformance promptly, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
Contribute to progress reports for senior leadership.
Promote and live company values daily.

Portray a professional image at all times.
What you'll bring As Project Manager your main skills and experience will include: Extensive experience in the management of Construction projects.
Chartered CIOB Membership or other relevant body A Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering, with experience of implementing Engineering skills in the construction of Steel Frame buildings A positive awareness of the Commercial Management of site issues Site Management Safety Training Scheme (5-day SMSTS) CSR/CSCS Qualification or equivalent Relevant experience of client and end user engagement Experience in the Construction of Multi Storey Car Park works.
