Civil Engineer Dublin - Leinster We are seeking a competent Civil Engineer to plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure projects.
The role involves ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and compliant with engineering standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and interpret civil engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess project requirements and progress.
Supervise and coordinate civil works including foundations, structural concrete, earthworks, roadworks, drainage, and utilities installation.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on site.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineers to resolve technical issues.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
Monitor material quality and workmanship on site.
Prepare progress reports, documentation, and maintain records.
Assist in procurement of materials and equipment related to civil works.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum [X] years of experience in civil engineering roles, preferably with residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and regulations.
Proficient in civil design and analysis software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, STAAD Pro).
Good understanding of soil mechanics, structural analysis, and materials testing.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with local construction codes and standards.
Preferred Skills: Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Knowledge of sustainable construction practices.
Certification in relevant civil engineering professional bodies.
