For over 30 years, Fairways has provided a comprehensive range of services for adults with complex needs and learning disabilities across residential care, supported living and outreach support.

The organisation prides itself on providing best-in-class quality of care with a person-centred, outcome-based approach and a dedicated team of 150 highly skilled staff with industry-leading expertise.

To allow for further expansion and development, the owners have recently sold a majority share in Fairways to Tower View, a Dublin-based investment firm with significant experience in the sector.

The organisation is now seeking to appoint an inspirational Chief Executive Officer who will manage its next phase of growth and development, whilst maintaining the highest standard of care the services are known for.

The CEO will lead, develop and build on Fairways existing legacy, carrying forward the organisations vision and achievements to ensure sustainable, strategic and organic growth.

Theyll lead and further develop a high-performing team to meet the needs of Service Users, Relatives, Colleagues and Stakeholders, supporting and empowering colleagues to reach their full potential.

Assuming the role of registered responsible person, the CEO will be accountable to the Fairways Board in leading on and managing governance, risk, compliance and quality of services.

Theyll maintain and develop outstanding facilities and operations, ensuring integration of any new expansions or acquisitions, and will support new initiatives that will contribute to the growth, improvement and suitability of the services it provides.

Ultimately the CEO will be a visible figurehead inside and outside the organisation and a will play a key role in shaping its future for the years to come.

Applicants should possess the following skills and experience: Significant senior leadership experience in a regulated healthcare related setting.

A track record of ensuring the delivery of a quality service and providing the best possible level of care and support to service users.

Previous experience of leading and developing an engaged, high-performing multidisciplinary team.

Evidence of a strong commercial focus with the ambition to achieve service growth and an ability to deliver profitable, sustainable services.

A track record of building strong working relationships with key stakeholders in the health and social care sector in Northern Ireland.

A credible leader with a high degree of personal integrity and accountability.

Great communication skills, able to negotiate and influence at all levels internally and externally.

Previous experience of working within the disability sector would be desirable.

This is a rare career opportunity for a senior leader from the healthcare sector to lead Fairways through the next part of its story and to play a key role in its growth whilst maintaining excellence in care.
