SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Excellent Opportunity with Leading Irish Food Manufacturer - Dublin A well-established and respected Irish food manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing operations team in Dublin.

THE COMPANY Our client is a major player in the Irish food and beverage production sector, known for their longstanding presence in the market and strong commitment to quality.

With a focus on continuous improvement and investment in both people and technology, they are seeking skilled maintenance professionals to support their expanding operations.

THE ROLE Working on a continental shift pattern, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe plant operation: 4 days on / 4 days off First 4 days: 6am - 6pm Next 4 days: 6pm - 6am Key responsibilities include: Performing routine and reactive maintenance on production line equipment such as conveyors, slicing systems, and packaging machinery.

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.

Participating in preventative maintenance schedules.

Working closely with production teams to maintain output and performance standards.

Maintaining high standards of safety and compliance at all times.

THE PERSON The ideal candidate will have: A relevant trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, MAMF, Electrician, Mechatronics, etc.) Experience working in a manufacturing or food production environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently on shift THE PACKAGE Salary: €65k Pension Overtime Rates LOCATION Dublin (commutable from North & West Dublin, Meath, and surrounding areas) BMS Performance specialises in recruiting Engineering professionals, nationally.
