Data Quality Lead, Public Sector, Kildare

Duties & Responsibilities: Main Responsibilities of the Post Review, analyse and manage large volumes of data.
Proactively manage data quality.
Develop and manage data quality reporting and performance measurements.
Identify opportunities to enhance and improve data quality within Co Vax, contributing to regional and national forums where applicable.
Act as the point of escalation for Data Quality queries and issues.
Act as a Co Vax super-user, to include user account management and manipulation of existing reports/ dashboards.
Oversee the administrative management of all data quality matters within the CVC.
Work with the regional Data Quality Lead to support and address legacy data issues that are relevant to the CVC.
Support the regional Data Quality Lead in reporting issues to Head office teams as they require escalation.
Encourage continuous process improvement in areas of automation and computerisation.
Data input & verification into the regional data tool.
Develop & maintain dashboards regionally & produce regular reports on multiple programmes as required.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies: Professional Knowledge & Experience Demonstrate: Excellent IT skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Teams/ Cisco Web Ex/ Zoom/ similar video conferencing software Experience of analysing and collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports using MS Excel or similar tools Professional Knowledge & Experience Demonstrate: Excellent IT skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Teams/ Cisco Web Ex/ Zoom/ similar video conferencing software Experience of analysing and collating large volumes of data and producing summary reports using MS Excel or similar tools Experience in managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders Experience of working in a busy office environment which has involved interacting in a professional manner with senior management and other key internal and external stakeholders Capacity for management responsibility and demonstration of initiative, including decision making.
How to improve efficiency within working environment, ability to evolve and adapt to a changing environment.
An understanding of Irish health services and HSE reform Planning & Managing Resources Demonstrate an ability to plan and organise work effectively addressing priority issues and ensuring the operation runs efficiently and effectively Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills to meet objectives within agreed timeframes, achieving quality results.
Demonstrate the ability to delegate appropriately and handle problems in a well-organised manner Demonstrate the ability to use resources effectively, challenging processes to improve efficiencies where appropriate Leadership & Teamwork The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team and multi stakeholder environment Flexibility, adaptability and openness to working effectively in a changing environment The ability to support, supervise, develop and empower staff in changing work practices in a challenging environment within existing resources Commitment to a Quality Service Demonstrate awareness and appreciation of the service user Demonstrate a commitment to promoting and maintaining high work standards Demonstrate a commitment to providing a professional service to internal and external stakeholders Communication & Interpersonal Skills Demonstrate effective communication skills including the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation skills, conflict resolution and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders Demonstrate experience in complex query handling through to completion The role will be based in Naas 35 Hours a week and 30 days annual leave.
