E Flexes Recruitment are currently hiring for the position of Team Leader on behalf of our well-established client in the Aviation industry, based in Shannon, Co.

Clare.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation on a permanent basis, working within a dynamic Operations team across a 2-cycle shift.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving production performance, leading continuous improvement, and supporting team development.

Job Title: Team Leader Team: Operations Reporting To: Product Leader Contract Type: Permanent Shift:2-cycle shift Overall Responsibility: Lead and support production areas to achieve operational goals and performance metrics.

Specific Accountabilities and Key Tasks: Lead one or more production areas to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Detailed Responsibilities: Provide leadership and direction in assigned production areas.

Ensure daily performance targets are consistently met or exceeded.

Maintain and update visual communication charts for production metrics.

Conduct regular 6 S audits and promote LEAN initiatives (e.g., TPM, Kaizen events).

Conduct shift start-up meetings and maintain regular communication with team members.

Contribute to annual employee appraisals and provide ongoing performance feedback.

Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and health/safety requirements.

Support training and development of production operators.

Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on productivity improvement programs.

Ensure product integrity through adherence to engineering and quality procedures.

Coordinate with support departments to optimize equipment and processes.

Provide detailed daily shift handover reports to the Product Leader.

Develop production plans in collaboration with the Product Leader for all relevant production cells.
