Environmental Engineer - Portlaoise Due to continued growth, expansion and new contracts, Enva have an extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Industrial Services team, working from our office in Portlaise.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing as part of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities Assist Contracts Manager in all duties required to safely, compliantly and profitably manage the daily operations.

Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holder, monitor projects budgets and programmes, Operations supervision and management, management of sub-contractors Develop and draft Risk assessments & Method Statements for work packages.

Environmental monitoring and reporting of same Assist in day-to-day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress Business Development Support in developing the sales pipeline, meeting and developing opportunities with new prospects and existing clients.

R&DResearch and support new initiatives, processes and technologies to maintain Enva\\\'s Environmental services position as an innovator and a forward thinker in this space Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Environmental Science, engineering (civil, mechanical), Agricultural degree or equivalent.

Previous experience in the engineering, environmental science, or waste industry.

Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, Enva personnel and other personnel encountered within your role Foster and develop good customer and public relations at all times and to portray a professional image of the company Conduct all duties in a constructive and productive manner aligned to the interests of the company and management Demonstrate a willingness to promote the positive development of the business to all stakeholders of the business including customers but also extending to staff, contractors, EPA, HSA etc.
