Senior Occupational Therapist

Location: Cluain Mhuire Services Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co.
Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately.
In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
Senior Occupational Therapist Full Time Permanent Post Crisis Resolution Service Applications are invited from Occupational Therapists with experience working in mental health services.
This post is based in the Crisis Response Service.
Given the novelty of this clinical programme the post holder will have the opportunity to influence the direction of occupational therapy provision in future similar services as they roll out nationally.
The successful applicant will join a vibrant occupational therapy department that values collaboration, teamwork, and advancing the occupational therapy ethos within services.
They will receive supervision and support from the Occupational Therapy Manager and other colleagues in the department.
The Cluain Mhuire Service has a strong history in supporting clinicians to reach their full potential through enabling participation in training and research activities.
Candidates must be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
Candidates will require clinical experience working with adults with mental health challenges in a community setting.
Experience and/or training in supporting people in acute psychological distress is advantageous for this post.
Remuneration Salary Grade 3301 OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, SENIOR on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €63,279 - €74,509 per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Blackrock, Co.
Dublin.
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
