SEABRIDGE specialises in Hazardous Cargo, each office has a DGSA, all consignments shipped are fully compliant with all ADR and IMDG regulations SEABRIDGEoperates Express Groupage LTL and Full Load Services FTL, European LTL / FTL Trailer Services, Bulk Chemical Tanker Service, Freight Forwarding Worldwide, Warehousing, Ocean Freight Service and World Air Freight Service.

The Role: Seabridge have a vacancy for a Transport Co-ordinator based at our Mygan office.

Reporting to the Operations Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: Plan and schedule full trailer loads between Ireland and the UK daily.

Co-ordinatewiththe Operations Managerregardingserviceupdatesandschedulingissues.

Liaisedirectlywithclients,maintainingprofessionalandtimelycommunication.

Serveasthefirstpointofcontactforcustomers,suppliers,shippers,andconsignees.

Managedailytransportbookings,ensuringalltimeframesaremet.

Monitorandmaintainthefleetoftrailersvia Mygan,ensuringregularcleaningandupkeep.

Overseeweeklytrailerturnaroundandmaintaindailytraileryardreports.

Manage Export Groupagetraileroperations.

Trackandcontrolallshipments,keepingclientsinformedateachstage.

Ensuretimelycompletionofallcollectionsanddeliveries.

Provideallnecessaryinformationtofacilitateefficientcustomsclearance.

Workcloselywiththewarehouseteamonloadinganddeliveryschedules.

Issueandcommunicateclearinstructionstohauliersanddrivers.

Be the operational contact for all hauliers and drivers for delivery and collection matters.

Deliverconsistentlyhighstandardsofcustomerservice.

Identifypotentialsalesleadsandpassthemtothecommercialteam.

Obtaintransportratesandprovidequotationstocustomers.

Ensurepromptandaccurateinvoicingofcustomers.

Recordaccrualsforsuppliersappropriately.

Complete CPLS reporting and address low margin loads as needed.

Minimum Requirements: Previous experience in a transport planning or co-ordination role, preferably in an Ireland UK logistics environment.

Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskillsforeffectiveclientandstakeholder interaction.

Abilitytomulti-taskandworkunderpressureinafast-pacedenvironment.

Highattentiontodetailwithstrongorganisationalandreportingskills.

Proficientinusingtransportmanagementsystems,ideally Azyra.

Aclearunderstandingoftraileroperations,customsclearanceprocesses,andgroupage logistics.

Customer-focusedmindsetwithaproactiveapproachtoproblem-solving.

Capableofworkingbothindependentlyandaspartofateam.

Familiaritywithinvoicingproceduresandcostcontrol(accruals, CPLS,margintracking).

A positive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
