Financial Accountant Our client are a leading international engineering services company who currently have an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant to join their finance team and report to the Group Financial Controller.

Working as part of a large finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for - Financial Management: Manage financial transactions, reconcile general ledger accounts.

Monitor cash-flow, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Financial Analysis: Analyse and interpret financial data to inform management decisions, including overhead reporting, and provide financial advice.

Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit accurate tax returns (VAT, etc) and other regulatory requirements in both Ireland and foreign jurisdictions.

Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, statutory year-end audits, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Business Partnering : You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as AP and AR to provide financial advice and support in decision-making processes and work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements Newly or recently qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CPA) Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field required Minimum 1-2 years PQE Experience with SAP is an advantage or similar ERP system (Oracle/JDE) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent in engineering or construction or similar industry a plus Benefits Hybrid working - 2 days WFH Annual Bonus 8% Pension 25 days annual leave Further Educational Assistant Skills: Qualified Accountant Financial Accountant SAP Benefits: Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque Paid Holidays Pension Fund Performance Bonus Educational assistant Hybrid working
