Gardener - Newry

X3 Gardeners required to work with the Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, based Greenbank Offices, Newry.

The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm and Friday 8am - 3.30pm.

The hourly rate Monday to Friday is £13.63 and Saturday is £20.46.

Initially the position will be on a temporary basis 4 months with possibility of an extension based on job performance.

The main duties of this role will include, cultivating planting and trimming plants, cutting grass, maintaining flower beds, removal of waste, using hand and power tools, moving equipment and carrying out general maintenance of the facility.

For one of the roles alternative weekend cover on Saturdays will be required working 8am to 12noon and candidates must be willing to work along water bodies and within Council Boats.
