On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting a Locum Practice Nurse for a well-established GP practice in Waterford City.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive primary care team, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-standard nursing care in a general practice environment Perform phlebotomy, vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management Assist with ECGs, cervical screening, and other routine procedures Collaborate closely with GPs to deliver comprehensive patient care Promote preventative care and health education initiatives Candidate Requirements: Registered with the NMBI as a General Nurse Minimum of 12 years experience as a practice nurse (essential) Proficient in phlebotomy, immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management, ECGs, and ear syringing Excellent communication and organisational skills Must hold a valid work visa (Stamp 4 or Stamp 1 G) or be an EU/EEA citizen Interested in making a meaningful impact in general practice?
