A leading developer is seeking a Health & Safety Officer to manage health and safety on a large-scale residential construction project in South Dublin.
This role will ensure the implementation of the companys safety management system, supporting the construction management team in delivering a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities Work as part of the construction management team to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Monitor and enforce implementation of the Health & Safety Management System on site.
Identify site-specific hazards and ensure they are documented and addressed practically.
Maintain clear communication with the Health & Safety Manager.
Ensure site folders and statutory records are up to date.
Enforce strict adherence to site rules by all contractors.
Support the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Coordinate safe systems of work for contractors.
Carry out on-site H&S audits and address non-conformances.
Develop and deliver Toolbox Talks and other H&S communications.
Identify training needs for site personnel and contractors.
Requirements Minimum 4 years experience managing safety systems in construction.
Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Membership of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred.
Ability to manage Health & Safety on-site using initiative within the management system.
