Job Type Permanent Full-Time Remote Work Option Hybrid Category Group Customer Office Location Dublin City, County Dublin, Ireland Job Details Role Title: Senior UX Designer Role Location: Abbey Street Company: Vhi Group Services DAC A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for a Senior UX Designer.
This role is pivotal in understanding population and Vhi customer needs and translating them into actionable insights that drive the development of innovative propositions within a heavily digital-influenced environment Role Purpose Conduct comprehensive user research to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of our target population segments.
Conduct competitor and internal research to understand emerging or leading trends.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, marketers, and developers to integrate user research findings into proposition development lifecycle.
Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies, such as surveys, interviews, usability tests, and ethnographic studies, to gather insights into user behaviours and preferences.
Analyse research data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that inform the development of compelling value propositions.
Create user personas, journey maps, and other artefacts to illustrate user needs and behaviours throughout the customer lifecycle.
Work closely with the wider UX researcher to translate high-level research insights into more focused UX research intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences.
Coach and lead the junior UX research team, developing their skills and capabilities.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX research and proposition development.
Present research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organisation Education & Experience Bachelor's or master's degree in UX, human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Market Research, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in user experience research, proposition development, or a related field, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
A passion for understanding user needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Familiarity with digital product development processes and principles, including user-centred design and agile methodologies Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values Skills and Abilities Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including study design, data collection, analysis and interpretation.
Proficiency in using a variety of research tools and techniques, such as survey platforms, usability testing software, and data analytics tools.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Team player, willing to coach and lead the junior UX research team, developing their skills and capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences.
