The Role We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager / Officer / Coordinator / Advisor to lead the implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of our QEHS systems and standards across all company operations.

Key Responsibilities SHEQ Systems & Compliance Develop, implement, and continually improve SHEQ policies, procedures, and programs.

Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in quality, health, safety, and environmental areas.

Maintain and review the company's Safety Statement and other statutory documentation.

Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), method statements, risk assessments, and training matrices.

Daily Operations & Reporting Ensure completion and accuracy of operatives' daily work sheets and relevant SHEQ forms.

Manage and maintain all controlled documentation related to quality, environment, health, and safety.

Monitor non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Training & Auditing Organise staff training in SHEQ-related areas and maintain training records.

Conduct regular internal audits and site inspections, reporting findings and following up on actions.

Deliver toolbox talks and promote a culture of proactive safety and continuous improvement.

Strategy & Risk Management Lead SWOT and PESTEL analyses to identify risks and strategic improvement opportunities.

Set and review annual SHEQ objectives and targets.

Manage equipment and vehicle safety programs, including inspections, testing, and tracking systems.

Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal departments, HR, and operations to address compliance or performance issues.

Review and approve supplier and contractor documentation to ensure health and safety standards are met.

Contribute to a culture of accountability, safety awareness, and performance excellence.

Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Management, or related discipline.

Two years of experience working within the construction industry Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor preferred.

Proven experience in a SHEQ role within construction, energy, or retrofit sectors.

Strong knowledge of Irish and EU SHEQ regulations and best practices.

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Comfortable working independently while influencing teams and stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and SHEQ software tools.

Full, clean driver's licence.
