Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and producing statutory financial statements.
You'll manage the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and ensure compliance with tax filings including VAT and Corporation Tax.
You'll also support budgeting and forecasting cycles, provide financial insights to aid decision-making, and contribute to process improvements and internal controls.
There may be opportunities to support systems implementations and automation projects, alongside wider business partnering responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed You'll be a newly qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA) with strong technical accounting knowledge and a keen eye for detail.
Whether you've trained in industry or a top-tier accounting firm, you'll bring analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
Experience with group reporting, UK/Irish tax legislation, ERP systems, and Excel would be advantageous but not essential.
Above all, you'll be a self-starter with commercial awareness and a drive to add value across the business.
