Accountancy Solutions is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team in the engineering sector.
About the RoleThis is a broad hands-on management accounting role, providing an opportunity to add value and make a strong contribution to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies.
- Assist senior management with budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities across the group.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reconciled accurately and on a timely basis.
- Manage inter-company transactions.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
- Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls.
- Management and development of the finance team.
- Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations.
- Manage Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with excellent IT and interpersonal skills, and a proactive can-do attitude. They will be comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business.
Client will also consider an accountant making their 1st post-qualified move from practice to industry.
