Play Board NI is the lead organisation for the development and promotion of childrens play in Northern Ireland.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Senior Management Team in the pivotal role of Director of Corporate Services & Finance.

This is a key leadership position within the organisation.

The successful candidate will take strategic and operational responsibility for Finance, Human Resources, and Administration ensuring strong governance, effective systems, and robust financial controls are in place to support the organisations continued growth and impact.

As a core member of the Senior Management Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will: Oversee all financial and management accounting, ensuring income is maximised and budgets are effectively managed.

Lead on HR and administration, implementing systems that reflect best practice and comply with current legislation.

Provide sound financial and strategic advice to senior colleagues and the Board of Directors.

Support the Board in meeting legal and regulatory duties, ensuring compliance with charity, company, and employment legislation.

Play a key role in organisational planning, contributing to Play Boards strategic direction and success.

What were looking for We are looking for a dynamic, highly organised professional with: Significant experience in financial management and human resource leadership.

Strategic mindset and the capability to oversee and streamline complex operational systems, driving efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, they will play a key role in shaping Play Boards future direction.

Ability to develop and manage robust corporate governance and risk management systems and processes, ensuring that the organisation continues to operate to the highest standards of compliance, accountability, and good practice.

Salary: Points: 43-46 = £49,590 £52,662 Location: 7 Crescent Gardens, Belfast Travel Costs: Travel mileage costs will be paid for any travel incurred carrying out the duties of the post.
