Principal Data Engineer Dublin City Centre (1 day per week onsite) Up to €120 K p/a + 10% bonus, healthcare, equity, 5% pension EU-owned Saa S company embarking on a full-scale revamp of their data infrastructure youll be coming in as the go-to data expert, identifying/establishing the architectural direction, working alongside the CTO and guiding a team of 4 data engineers.
We need someone with a strong point of view on data architecture and tooling, ideally, someone whos built something similar from the ground up and can confidently present or their ideas at the leadership level.
The company have close to 250 staff in total with multiple engineering teams operating in their Dublin office.
Its very much a hands-on role, were looking for a Senior Data Engineer who has been in high-responsibility roles, with real expertise in Snowflake, AWS and of course Python The Person: A data engineering expert, likely with 10+ years experience.
Proven experience designing and building data platforms from scratch.
Deep AWS knowledge.
Snowflake experience.
Strong communication and leadership skills Previous experience in a high-growth Saa S environment is a big plus Open to.
