Overview A major food production group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team at their Head Office in Grannagh, Co.
Waterford.
This is a permanent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of capital projects across multiple production sites, supporting one of Europe's leading food processing operations.
Responsibilities As Electrical Project Engineer, you will: Lead the design, implementation, and handover of multidisciplinary engineering projects.
Manage and coordinate project elements across various production sites.
Develop project budgets and oversee them through the full project lifecycle.
Prepare user requirement specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings.
Support commissioning and handover of systems to end users.
Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Criteria We're looking for candidates who have: A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 2 years' experience in project engineering, ideally within capital projects.
Strong proficiency in MS Office and Auto CAD; MS Project experience is a plus.
A certified qualification in Project Management (desirable).
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver projects end-to-end.
Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
Flexibility to travel to production sites across Ireland and the UK.
