Document Checking Team Lead

This role offers a fantastic chance for an ambitious professional to advance their career within a global organisation that highly values and supports its employees.
The position is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring three days a week in the modern Belfast City Centre offices and two days working remotely from home.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break.
This is a permanent appointment.

Main Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily activities and performance of the Document Checking team, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service.
Conduct regular one-to-one sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to communicate expectations and action points clearly to all team members.
Oversee and coordinate staff development and training initiatives, maintaining up-to-date training plans and reviewing progress regularly.
Monitor team productivity and service standards, implementing formal performance management processes when necessary.
Proactively suggest and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and workflow effectiveness.
Ensure client satisfaction by liaising effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to deliver timely and accurate outputs.
Manage any service issues promptly, escalating matters where appropriate and proposing practical solutions.
Provide operational support across the department, including stepping in to manage workflow or cover other responsibilities as needed.
Collaborate with the Document Expert to offer guidance and clarify technical queries within the team.
Ensure smooth shift transitions by coordinating handover communications between colleagues.
Lead key projects within the Document Services function, especially those involving cross-departmental collaboration.
Continuously develop technical skills through ongoing training and shadowing opportunities.
Candidate Profile Demonstrates a clear commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Proven experience in managing teams within a professional services environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships across all organisational levels.
Comfortable working under pressure in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings, ideally with experience in 24/7 operations.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Enthusiastic about driving ongoing service improvements and embracing innovative working practices.
