Clinical Nurse Manager 1- CNM1 Saint John of God Community Services Dublin South East is looking for applications for the role of Permanent Full Time CNM1 as part of the residential management team.

(37.5 hours) SALARY: DOH 2127 pay scale 56,081 - 66,045 per annum pro rata Organisational Overview Saint John of God, Community Services, Dublin South East Region offers day, community residential and respite support to children and adults with a range of intellectual disabilities, to live full and meaningful lives as members of society.

General Role Outline This is an exciting opportunity to join a renowned service in the intellectual disability sector.

We are funded by the HSE and as such the role is within the public service and subject to annual increments, generous annual leave, and pensions.

We are developing our residential services and opening new locations specific to dementia community supports and complex medical supports.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of those with Dementia and complex medical needs.

This post provides therapeutic interventions, practical support, and nursing support where appropriate to meet the needs of the individuals supported.

The CNM1 will be expected to effectively lead and manage staff teams in supporting and developing further opportunities for adults with an Intellectual disability with a dementia diagnosis and/or complex medical needs.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills to support strong relationships with all stakeholders associated with our services is essential.

Essential Criteria The successful candidate must meet the following criteria: Be on the current register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and preferably RNID trained with 3 years' experience in ID Excellent knowledge and understanding of Health Act Regulations, HIQA Standards and all other relevant legislation as well as relevant social care models Experience in the area of ID essential Experience of working with Dementia advantageous Good leadership qualities, including excellent communication, interpersonal skills and change management and auditing skills.

The ability to manage, develop and motivate a staff team A flexible working approach that responds to the changing needs of the service A vision for change management and innovative An appreciation of the dynamic balance between risk and opportunity.
