Your new company is a leading construction company specialising in a wide range of building projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Your new role As a Site Manager with this contractor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction sites.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include: Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.

Reviewing project plans and specifications to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

Coordinating and supervising construction workers and subcontractors.

Ensuring adherence to all health and safety standards and reporting any issues.

Managing the use of construction equipment and machinery.

Resolving problems and implementing improvements in construction processes.

Maintaining communication between project managers, site staff, and clients.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to come with proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.

You should have an in-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are crucial.

Familiarity with construction and project management software is required, and relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, SSSTS etc.
