Requirements: A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification in Health or Social Care Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
Thorough knowledge of HIQA Regulations and Standards and the relevant regulative framework Good working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding requirements including Trust in Care, and Childrens First An understanding of the New Directions model of day support services, as developed by the HSE.
