Structural Design Engineer Rail About the Company One of Irelands largest companys, who specialise in the rial transport sectors, are currently looking to recruit Structural Engineer who specialises in building projects related to the rail network.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well know Irish company who are expanding across their network.
This role is based from Dublin About the Position Working closely with all levels of senior engineer, you will be involved in civil and structural design projects related to buildings associated with the rail network.
You will use your skills in Revit and BIM and you will be involved with a large multi-discipline team on engineers.
You will have project management experience and have client facing experience.
Experience/Requirements Within this role you will be involved in Civil and Structural design Tendering site investigation works Detailed design across their commercial and industrial projects Experience in steel, timber, concrete and masonry Work closely with the project engineering team Site visits on occasion to monitor installation Compiling project reports and delivering to senior management A strong working knowledge of LUAS, Tekla TEEDS, SLOPE, WALLAP or other design software Providing Technical back-up and support to clients For this role you are required to have; Degree in engineering (Civil/Structural) Knowledge of Autocad, Revit and 3 D design Concept of complex structural design processes Ideally experience in Rail or similar civil programs Awareness of project financial performance The desire to develop a career in this engineering sector Remuneration Package The client offers an excellent package along with benefits.
