Job Specification: Data Solution Architect Position: Data Solution Architect Location: Hybrid Dublin Duration: Initial 3 months, with likely extension of 6-12 months (1-month notice period) Industry: Utilities (Electricity) Technology Stack: Microsoft Azure Data Lake Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect to drive end-to-end data solutions for a major utilities sector project.

This role requires expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Lake, data integration, and solution design.

Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement scalable data solutions within Azure.

Design and oversee data integration strategies, ensuring seamless connectivity between Data Lakes and enterprise systems.

Define the best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Lead the design of data pipelines and ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics.

Collaborate with stakeholders to align data solutions with strategic goals.

Provide guidance on data monitoring, quality assurance, and performance optimisation.

Key Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Data Solution Architecture.

Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Azure-based data solutions.

Strong experience with data integration, governance, and security.

Background in utilities or electricity sector preferred.

Familiarity with enterprise asset management systems (Maximo preferred).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.

Ability to lead solution architecture initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
