Senior Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Design Build Search. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily site operations and ensuring that prestigious projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry quality standards.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a fast-growing Developer Builder based in North Dublin, where you will be responsible for leading a team of subcontractors and labourers to deliver top-quality craftsmanship. You will also coordinate with project managers, architects, and conservation specialists to ensure timely delivery and adherence to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all subcontractors and labourers on site on a daily basis, ensuring exceptional workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and conservation specialists to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
  • Oversight of site operations, including supervising subcontractors and site workers, guiding them through restoration and prestigious residential projects with strict timelines.
  • Ensure workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, building regulations, health and safety legislation.
  • Solve on-site challenges efficiently, preserving the integrity of historic buildings.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed fortnightly progress reports for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
  • Manage and oversee all site programmes, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years experience as a Site Manager.
  • Proven track record of managing high-end residential aspects of multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
  • Good knowledge of modern construction techniques with an excellent eye for detail.
  • Ability to meet tight programmes by organising, planning, and delegating effectively.
  • Proficient with Outlook and MS Office.
