Senior Java Developer x 2 Contract Opportunity Location: Dublin, Ireland Hybrid - 3 days on-site & 2 remote per week (non-negotiable) Type: 6-month initial contract term, rolling / long-term contract Rate: Competitive Daily Rate Stelfox is seeking twoexperienced Senior Java Developers to join a dynamic team for one of our leading clients based in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications that support various business units and functions.
You will work on diverse development platforms and technologies, contributing to the design and implementation of complex applications using cutting-edge tools.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions using Java and related technologies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Provide technical direction and contribute to system architecture for individual initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Technologies: Programming Languages & Frameworks: Java 8/11, Java EE (CDI, JPA, Bean Validation, JMS, JNDI, JDBC, JSP, Servlets), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, Spring Framework, Struts, Hibernate, RESTEasy, Velocity.
API & Integration: JAX-RS (REST), Mulesoft, VXML.
Testing & QA: JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Arquillian, Assert J.
Database & Query Languages: SQL, PL/SQL, Elasticsearch.
Tools & Utilities: Maven, Ant, Flyway, Log4j, Xalan.
Markup & Transformation: XML, XSL.
Ideal Candidate Profile: Strong hands-on experience in application development and support.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with a large set of stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and drive innovation.
