About the Role: As the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leading and managing business operations across two sites, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional service delivery.

This role requires a strong leader who can drive performance, manage large teams, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and health & safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage warehousing and distribution teams to meet operational and customer demands.

Drive a strong health & safety culture across all operations.

Utilise reporting mechanisms (daily/weekly/monthly) to monitor and enhance performance.

Develop workforce planning strategies to ensure resources and capital investments align with business growth.

Set clear performance expectations, ensuring target achievement and continuous improvement.

Oversee financial management, cost control and legal compliance.

Partner with senior leadership to align business strategies and priorities.

Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and profitability.

Participate in customer meetings and collaborate with commercial teams to drive service excellence.

Ideal Candidate: FMCG, operations, or production management background with experience in a fast-paced environment.

Proven experience in managing large teams in a 24/7 operation.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Experience in warehousing, distribution, and operational strategy.

Commercially focused, customer service-driven, and results-oriented.

Comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels.

Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to challenges.

Change management expertise.

Budget and KPI management experience.
