This is a rare opportunity to lead the financial function of a dynamic and growing business with a reputation for excellence in customer service and operational performance.
About the Role: As Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealership's financial management, ensuring financial health, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
You'll work closely with the Dealer Principal and department heads to support strategic decision-making through robust financial insight.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Manage cash flow, working capital, and cost control Ensure compliance with tax, legal, and statutory regulations Collaborate with department managers to optimise profitability Liaise with auditors, banks, and external partners Implement and improve internal financial controls and systems Provide strategic input to support long-term business growth What We're Looking For: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role Strong commercial acumen and ability to interpret financial data into strategic insight Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Proficient in financial software an advantage(e.g., Kerridge/CDK, Sage, or similar ERP systems)Experience in the motor industry is an advantage but not essential What We Offer: A senior leadership role in a respected, well-established dealership Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus structure A collaborative, high-performance team environment Ready to steer your finance career in a new direction?Apply now by sending your CV and cover letter.
