MCS Group is delighted to announce a new opportunity for a skilled Azure Dev Ops Engineer to join a growing international organisation as they seek to grow their international team.

(Flexible hybrid - County Louth) The Role: CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and enhance CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops to streamline and automate software delivery.

Kubernetes Orchestration: Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal availability and performance.

Monitoring & Optimisation: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to maintain infrastructure health and performance.

Leverage tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana for proactive issue resolution.

Security & Compliance: Apply security best practices and ensure adherence to organisational and industry compliance standards for cloud infrastructure and application deployment.

Collaboration: Partner with development, QA, Cloud Ops, and IT operations teams to embed Dev Ops best practices across the organisation.

Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation covering infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

The Person: Experience: Strong experience as a Senior Dev Ops Engineer or in a similar role, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and Kubernetes.

CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience designing, building, and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops.

Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Containerisation & Orchestration: Proficiency in Docker (Linux) and Kubernetes, with at least 2 years of experience in container orchestration.

Scripting & Automation: Skilled in scripting and automation using Power Shell or Bash.

Infrastructure as Code (Ia C): Experience with Ia C tools such as Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure.

Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networks, load balancing, and DNS within Azure.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to system optimisation and improvements.

Full right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4/EU Citizenship).
