Loch Garman, Loch Garman, Ireland Wexford General Hospital Full time

Provide specialist Gastroenterology/Hepatology inpatient and consult services, as well as acute General Medical inpatient services.

Perform both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy services at Wexford General Hospital and Ely Hospital sites.

Conduct outpatient clinics for gastroenterology/hepatology.

Provide leadership and governance in managing the medical day ward, including drug infusions, venesections, ambulatory care facilities, etc.

Support Advanced Nurse Practitioners (aNPs) and Clinical Nurse Specialists in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Participate in the General Medical on-call service (currently 1:10).

Engage in Endoscopy User Group and relevant hospital committees.

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care and promote evidence-based decision making.
