Role Overview

As a Technical Lead in AI Infrastructure at HubSpot, you will play a pivotal role in developing AI/ML solutions that serve dual missions: providing seamless, robust, and scalable Machine Learning solutions to Product teams, and offering the best infrastructure for Machine Learning Engineers (MLEs).

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small team of 3-4 engineers, fostering autonomy and flexibility
  • Define and guide the direction for AI Infrastructure at HubSpot
  • Remain hands-on in technical tasks while leading the team
  • Conduct code reviews, coaching, and mentoring
  • Utilize coding skills in Java/Python or other backend languages
  • Maintain familiarity with ML concepts and stay updated with industry trends; exposure to AI Infrastructure at scale is preferred
  • Communicate effectively and build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Own projects end-to-end, successfully collaborating with multiple engineering teams
  • Solve complex technical problems with empathy for users (SWEs and MLEs)
