Accounting & Finance Graduate Programme 2026 role at Bank of Ireland Group plc. The Finance Division is responsible for all financial and management reporting processes across Bank of Ireland Group. This three-year programme, structured around three rotations, is designed to equip graduates with the critical skills needed to accelerate their professional development and career growth.

As a graduate, you'll develop strong management, interpersonal, and technical skills while working on business-critical projects in a fast-paced environment. You'll be encouraged to seek new experiences, collaborate across teams, and contribute to meaningful transformation initiatives that support our Group strategy.

The programme provides exposure to internal management reporting and external financial reporting, with a focus on areas such as treasury, risk management, balance sheet strategy, and capital requirements. You will develop expertise in management information (MI) and data analytics, and have opportunities to work with colleagues across various levels and divisions to build a strong professional network. Regular engagement with senior leadership is encouraged, including exposure to senior executives. You will have access to our Digital Academy and Mentorship Programme to guide your development, and there may be a potential pathway into Bank of Ireland's talent programmes to fast-track high-potential individuals.

• Involvement in internal management reporting and external financial reporting, including interim and annual statutory accounts, pre-close statements, published accounts, and investor briefings.
• Development of expertise in management information (MI), data analytics, and deep product knowledge in areas such as treasury and financial instruments, risk management, balance sheet strategy, and capital requirements.
• Opportunities to work with colleagues across various levels and divisions, helping you build a strong professional network.
• Regular engagement with senior leadership, including the CEO and Executive Committee.

• A deep understanding of financial reporting in a large, publicly listed company, with a focus on internal controls and SOX compliance. Significant support in pursuing a professional accountancy qualification (a requirement for programme applicants).
• A tailored Graduate Development Programme combining virtual and in-person training, covering topics such as relationship management, business promotion, presentation skills, and financial well-being.
• A hybrid working model that supports flexibility and work-life balance. Most hybrid roles require a minimum of 8 in-office days per month, with specific arrangements confirmed during recruitment.

• Undergraduate or Master's degree (achieved or expected) in any subject area.
