Job Description:Clinical Nurse Manager II - Cardiac Cath Lab

Position: Full time/Permanent Contract

Applications are invited for the above position in our Cath Lab.

Requirements:
  • Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI, and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential)
  • Have 5 years post-registration experience in an acute setting, with a minimum of 3 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab (essential)
  • Completed a management training programme and/or have management experience (essential)
  • Have a recognised qualification within the speciality (desirable)
  • Have completed a management training programme (desirable)
  • Proven clinical and professional ability
  • Good IT skills with proficiency in relevant applications
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills to engage positively with patients and staff
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Proven ability to work under pressure
  • Evidence of commitment to professional development
  • Ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Competency in the English language
  • Ability to analyze, report on, and effect change in nursing practice
  • Knowledge of procedures and protocols in operational matters
  • Ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and plan for service development
  • Knowledge of risk management, clinical audit, and HR practices
