We are currently offering an opportunity for an Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to work on-site (hybrid) with a client based in Newbridge, Kildare.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the full EIA process, delivering EIAR and AA/NIS for large-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Provide environmental planning expertise to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Stay updated on environmental legislation and planning developments at local and national levels.
  • Support stakeholder engagement and consultations with communities, statutory, and non-statutory bodies.
  • Prepare technical scopes for third-party services and assist with procurement.
  • Champion health, safety, and environmental best practices across projects.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, and Management teams to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications:
  • Level 8 Honours Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of Irish planning law and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience dealing with internal teams and external agencies.
