Chef de Partie required for busy 4* Hotel in Co Clare

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at a busy 4-star hotel in Co Clare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing their section, ensuring the highest standards in the preparation of all menu items.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing your section to maintain quality and efficiency.
  2. Experience in Bar, Restaurant, Breakfast, and Banqueting is preferred, as the hotel hosts conferences and weddings.
  3. Working hands-on in a fast-paced environment and supporting service to maximize results during peak periods.
  4. Assisting in developing and implementing new menu ideas for various outlets and seasonal changes.
  5. Prioritizing, organizing, and delegating work, as well as overseeing staff performance.
  6. Promoting positive relationships with kitchen staff, service personnel, and other departments.
  7. Collaborating with the Head Chef to ensure HACCP standards are followed and documented, reducing food and energy wastage.
  8. Fostering team spirit among kitchen staff and maintaining hygiene protocols.
  9. Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment and requesting repairs when necessary.
  10. Participating in onboarding and ongoing training for staff.

The property operates year-round. The role is available immediately, and applicants must have legal residence in Ireland. Interviews will be conducted in person at the hotel.

Note: The hotel offers free parking but does not provide accommodation for this role.
