Overview

Night Manager role at Dalata Hotel Group. This position is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and for maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of the hotel at night and to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Guest relations
  • Overall health and safety at night, including fire walks, security checks, and other relevant health and safety duties (e.g., first aid)
  • Front Office duties, including running the night audit report and checking in/checking out guests
  • Manage the team of Night Porters and their nightly tasks
  • Food and Beverage service at night
  • Lead the team to achieve goals with mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluations and hotel standards
  • Lead and develop the Night team, ensuring they are prepared for the next step in their career
  • Contribute to the strategic running of the hotel
What You Will Need
  • 2–3 years in a similar night or reception role
  • Excellent knowledge of the hotel business
  • Previous hospitality experience is essential
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Opera
  • Knowledge and experience of using the Brilliant electronic front office system
  • Excellent skills in people leadership and development
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work
  • A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with staff and guests
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
