An amazing opportunity has arisen for an API Maintenance Planner. Reporting to the API Maintenance Lead, the Maintenance Planner will play a key role in the planning and execution of the maintenance program. The Maintenance Planner will effectively plan and assist in scheduling maintenance work to enable effective and timely execution. The planner will have strong technical knowledge of equipment design and maintenance with the ability to map out repair plans in a standard work format.

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following:

1. Assist in the development, implementation and day to day operation of the site Maintenance system.
2. In conjunction with the Maintenance Manager & Scheduler, coordinate the Work Scheduling process to ensure site specific targets on maintenance backlog management are achieved.
3. Plan PM & CM work orders by visiting job sites, booking/ordering materials, writing task lists, performing risk assessments etc. working closely with contract providers to plan work requests.
4. Continue to develop the PPM (Planned and Predictive Maintenance) system including writing job plans and assigning maintenance frequencies.
5. Liaise with the Reliability Engineer on implementation of the PdM program.
6. Operation and execution of the PPM Change Control System.
7. Review incoming work requests to ensure data accuracy, correct work type and to manage CM (Corrective Maintenance) Backlogs.
8. Plan, estimate, and assist in the coordination all aspects of maintenance and project activities associated with the Maintenance Shutdowns.
9. Support the development of the equipment annual review and support the team in the development of periodic OOT trend report.
10. Support the implementation maintenance best practice methodologies/technologies including LSS processes e.g. creation of standard work for routine maintenance activities.
11. Liaise with Reliability Engineers on criticality assessments in developing new maintenance strategies/plans for new assets.

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

1. Trade qualification and or a 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing GMP environment.
3. Knowledge and experience of CMMS systems is essential, ideally SAP.
4. Experience of managing vendors and contractors.
5. Good understanding of World Class Maintenance practices and expectations.
6. Knowledge of maintenance systems and work practices for both electrical and mechanical crafts.
7. Knowledge of predictive and condition-monitoring maintenance techniques and their applications.
8. Leadership, communication, decision making and problem solving skills with a proven track record for effectively collaborating and working well within a team.
9. High personal integrity, credibility and energy.
