My client is a high-volume retailer stocking a broad range of products across Gifts & Home, Household, Hardware, Health & Beauty, DIY, Kitchenware, and more

With shops nationwide, they are opening a brand-new store in Waterford City and are looking for an Assistant Manager and a Store Manager to oversee a team of up to 20.

If you are an experienced manager from a fast-paced grocery, fashion or non-food retailer, then I would love to hear from you.

Salary: €34.5k – €40k depending on the role and experience.

You will be a bubbly, energetic sales and KPI driven manager with a passion for people management, coaching, and development.

Key Responsibilities for the job of Retail Store Manager:
  • Lead your team in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Motivate the team in delivering the store KPI's including sales, stock, audits, and mystery shops.
  • Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales.
  • Interpret trends to facilitate planning.
  • Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store standards.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
  • Monitor all variable costs within the limits of budgetary control.
  • Organise and prioritise daily tasks, optimising resources, and minimising costs.
  • Develop your team by acting as a role model and coach.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and administration.
  • Ensure all company guidelines, procedures, and policies are implemented and adhered to.
  • Analyse and forecast sales and monitor all variable operating costs.
