Our exclusive Client provides a marketing leading trading platform designed for financial markets, which offers real-time data and order execution for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies.

Our Client has recently opened a new Dublin office seeking an Infrastructure and Network Engineer to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, trading hardware, and to configure, deploy, and troubleshoot trading software.

The initial training period of 2-3 weeks could require onsite attendance for 5 days, after which the role can be primarily remote with occasional visits to the Dublin office and/or data center as needed (once every 2 weeks, for example).

Note: The 5-day working week will include 1 day every weekend due to the nature of trading and maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues affecting trading systems.
  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance for trading servers and workstations.
  • Build, configure, and deploy new machines based on company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and operational best practices.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot trading software.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years experience in Network Operations support.
  • Experience with high-speed, low-latency enterprise-grade networking equipment such as Arista, Edge Core, etc.
  • Strong experience in a Linux environment, including automation of tasks and enhancement of system efficiency.
  • Experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and system builds.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Control M for real-time visibility.
